Widely considered a talented and driven visionary who lives on the edge of tomorrow, Mack Burnett III, understands what it takes to pull back the curtain on the future.
Mack Burnett III is a digital strategist, thought leader, speaker and author who lives and breathes what’s “NEXT”. Dubbed the “Oprah of Technology”, by some of his clients, Mack’s mission is to facilitate “BETTER LIVING THROUGH TECHNOLOGY”.
A native New Yorker, he was raised in Queens, New York by a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) mother and Real Estate Broker father, who put entrepreneurship in his blood. At a young age, Mack discovered his passion for computers and other technology, learning to program on his mother’s TRS-80 that used 8″ floppy discs.
In college, Mack continued completing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and pursued an MBA in Executive Management from St. John’s University. Today, Mack’s commitment to learning involves continued studies — a minimum of 15 to 20 hours each week. He’s constantly looking for trends, patterns and learning about the newest developments in business, marketing and technology.
In 2005, he invented a Digital Real Estate Window and a Digital Video Jacket that played multimedia on the back. His ideas and business strategies have landed him in the Wall Street Journal, Black Enterprise and The Network Journal.
In 2007, Mack was honored as one of the 40 Under 40 business leaders to watch by both The Long Island Business News and The Network Journal.
Today, as the CEO of the newly formed POWERFUL IMPACT EDUCATION, “PIE” is on a mission to change the way we live, work and play.
Working with private and public companies, universities and other organizations, PIE delivers unique solutions to help people live better lives. From delivering a keynote speech to large crowds on how we’ll work tomorrow, to consulting with companies on how to leverage their existing digital assets, Mack brings a powerful and forward thinking perspective to his clients.
Mack also strongly believes in giving back. He’s currently teaching Digital Strategy, Mobile Marketing and other classes at New York University.
“Technology by itself is just a tool. It’s like a hammer or a screwdriver. It’s WHAT you do with it that can transform lives…” says Mack. “I have always loved talking to people about what’s possible. When I get people excited about technology, it’s very rewarding to see how they use it. Speaking, training and writing are great vehicles to deliver that value.”
By translating an ever-changing future into engaging, digestible bites, that educate and empower his clients, Mack is most certainly poised to help make the future a better place.
